A BARON IS BORN – A RED BARON
RED BARON® frozen pizza was born in small town Minnesota, armed with a passion for great-tasting pizza. It was time for pizza to step out of the shadows of its “boring, bland, bar food” reputation and become the centerpiece of flavorful, family fun. RED BARON® is the best pizza for sharing something delicious, and for creating moments to remember!

LOVE IS IN THE AIR
RED BARON® continued reaching even larger audiences in America, flying off the shelves and into our hearts. Did you know? “Love at First Bite” was an actual TV commercial featuring the iconic mustache and red scarf!

1985
SATURDAY NIGHT SLICE
Guided by our principle to innovate, RED BARON® raised the bar for the industry by introducing bold new flavors like Four Cheese, Hearty Supreme and Classic Meat Lovers. These quickly became Saturday night favorites, transforming family dinners into “something awesome”. Families gathered to enjoy RED BARON® slices – the happiest moment of the day. And by the end, everyone was left wanting more.
1988
RED BARON® RACECAR
Buddy Baker breaks records. He became the first man to drive over 200mph. NASCAR™ embodies the same principles of passion and integrity. When Buddy drove the RED BARON® Racecar, it was more than just a partnership, it was a union of two of the greatest. Everyone should feel like Buddy after they take a bite.

1979 - 2007
RED BARON® SQUADRON
The RED BARON® Squadron elevated the brand to new heights and captivated consumers outside of the Midwest – traveling over 6 million miles! After 28 years, and more than 80,000 passengers, the branded biplanes retired in 2007. It marked the end of an era.
